La Pachangona (from the slang word pachanga means party in South American Spanish). It is a community founded in the city of Marburg in Germany by two Colombian students, Gabriela Caicedo, and Vanessa Wind.

 

The mission of this space is to welcome young Latin American students to the city providing a safe space and a room for cultural exchange with Germans and other migrants. The event features workshops on current Latin American topics and is followed by a Latinx party. The subjects discussed in the workshops vary from ecology and decolonization to feminism and even dancing workshops.
